Asako and Adey scores hat trick

Male’, MALDIVES – Ashad Ali and Asadhulla Abdulla each scored a hat trick against BG Sports last night which they easily won by 6-1 and keeps pressure under league leaders New Radiant.

Maziya’s Ashad Ali opened the scoring in the first minute of the game when Abdulla Abubakuru tried to clear the header from Asadhulla inside the box but it hits the post and Ashad Ali scored from the rebounded ball.

In the 12th minute Asadhulla put the ball into the net from a descent cross from Samdhooh but the flag was up against him.

Four minutes later, Nashid penetrated the defense line and made a good shot but keeper Saruhan cleared the ball.

In the 19th minute, keeper Saruhan was forced to make another save to stop the shot from Asadhulla.

Two minutes later, Asadhulla controls the ball from chest and pass it to Ashad but his shot inside the box hits the cross bar.

A minute later Asadhulla’s header inside the box hits the post from a good cross from Nashid.

In the 25th minute, Asadhulla's header inside the six yard box was blocked and he made another shot on target from the rebounded ball but keeper cleared it for a corner kick.

In the 31st minute Kudus brought down Asadhulla inside the box and referee awarded a penalty to Maziya which Asadhulla converted to a goal.

Five minutes after the break Ashad Ali scored from a superb header inside the box from the corner kick from Faruhad.

Two minutes later, Asadhulla scored from a descent volley inside the box. Good assist from Nashid from the right flank.

In the 57th minute, Ashad Ali scored his hat trick from a good pass from Shiyam.

In the 71st minute, Kudus scored their first goal of the night. Keeper Nishah tried to clear a high ball but failed to do so and Kudus scored.

In the last minute of the normal time Asadhulla scored his third goal from a good cross Abu.

Maziya lies on the second position of the table with 37 points from 14 games. League leaders New Radiant got 39 points from 14 games.
