His recent form has been disappointing to say the least. It might have started in the match against Tottenham in Malaysia. He missed a good goal scoring opportunity perhaps overcome by the enormity of the occasion, because it is not every day you play against a big European team. He failed to make good connection with the ball. Since then he has been poor. Poor for national team. Poor for his club PDRM, perhaps again exacerbated their terrible loss of form. In the last five matches they have won only once. The biggest worry is it is not just his general play but he is not able to get on score sheet. He has not scored in the last six matches including the two matches for national team. This could be his longest stretch of period having gone without scoring a goal in the last five years. I wonder how he is going to perform in this match provided he get selected in the playing-11.
