No club is ever going to employ a footballer who simply disappears without informing his club. May be his level is playing for kindergarten!

I don't think ashfan buys into the belief of "family first" rather he believes "me first"! if he thought of his family he would have surely taken leave rather than give up his income from football. The income he would have surely had to spend on his family

Termination of contract is too hash a penalty for failing to inform his club when in similar cases it is nothing more than a suspension. Even in European football, players who turn up late for new season did not get such a hash reprimand. Like Chelsea’s Hazard or Manchester United’s former defender Rio Ferdinand who failed to appear for a designated doping test. In both cases it was some suspension and a fine of couple of weeks’ wages. In this case they should have been compassionate with his predicament; after all, it was for the treatment of a child, not for shopping and enjoyment. If BG wants to be so professional and a role model for others they should remind themselves of the importance of timely issuance of salary for each player at the end of the month. Don’t misplace your priorities and take decision on the spur of the moment.

They tried to play out with your bro too. He was wise enough to skip out at the right time.

He was an employee of BG Sports Club and they have every right to terminate his contract. He signs a contract with the club and simply vanishes! There is no way that anybody can endorse this, even those who has commented below. Where is the decency? Isn't it simple to pick up the phone and call his employees and speak with them? This is the reason why employees hesitate to employee Maldivians and instead opt for foreigners. They simply vanish and turn up for the job whenever they feel like. It doesn't work like that. Obviously Ashfan liked his pay! So don't talk about Hazard and Ferdinand. Its not Chelsea and Manchester United that is employing the vanishing Ashfan. It is BG and their interpretation can be different.
