Rilwan (L) scored the only goal against Maziya today.

Male’, MALDIVES – Rilwan Waheed’s second half goal against Maziya Sports and Recreation Club helped defending champions New Radiant to continue their unbeaten run in the league and take them back to the top of the table with 17 points, three more than their closest rivals TC Sports.

In the 28th minute Maziya’s keeper Pavel was forced to stop a good shot from Ahmed Abdulla which he made just out side the box.

Two minutes later Panel made another descent save to clear a diving header from Alamou for a corner kick.

In the 35th minute Ali Fasir made another good shot but it went over the bar.

In the 54th minute New Radiant’s Hamza Mohamed’s shot inside the box went wide from a timely pass from skipper Ashad Ali.

Three minutes later Maziya’s Pablo puts the ball into the net but the referee blew the whistle for a foul against New Radiant player.

In the 59th minute New Radiant’s keeper Alisher was forced to block a good shot from Toni.

New Radiant’s Rilwan Waheed scored the winning goal in the 77th minute from a wonderful volley inside the box. He controls the cross from Mohamed Rasheed and shot it into the goal.

With this win New Radiant moved to the top of the table with 17 points from seven games and Maziya lies on the third position with 12 points from seven games.

It seems u know that NRSC will win this match against Maziya, that is why u have refused to upgrade ur league table leaving Tc in second place instead of first since on saturday that TC were supposed to be on top of the table based on goals scored. Wake up please.
