Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Club has defended their Milo Women’s Football Championship trophy after beating MNDF by 4-1 in today’s final match played at National Football Stadium.

In the ninth minute MNDF’s Bangladeshi striker Sabeena Kathun broke the deadlock but three minutes before the break New Radiant’s Bem Bem missed the opportunity to level the game from a spot kick.

In the 48th minute New Radiant’s Nangom leveled the game and six minutes later she took the lead. And two minutes later she scored her hat trick from a wonderful volley.

New Radiant’s fourth goal of the game came in the extra time from Nangom and she became the top scorer of the tournament with 25 goals as well as the player of the match.
