i was one of the match officials as i have seen the incident very closely, he was not slapped. it was a forceful hit on his head. for that he is still suffering very bad pain on his head.

last time such a thing happened and Maziya officials were suspended and now allowed to the stadium for 5 years i think. Sadly, they are back in the stadium from the very 1st match. FAM needs to be a responsible and organized place if we are to improve the football in the Maldives. If they are unable to do so, it is time they resign and let those capable to take on and work for the betterment of this beautiful sport.

This isnt the only problem.. we referees are doing this for passion only.. this year kits are still not given.. referee badges are not given.. no one in FAM cares about this.. but we are doing with what we have.. but they failed to provide security.. this is unacceptable..
