DDLQ: BG Sports 2 - 1 Vyansa: BG Sports win three points against Vyansa

Male', MALDIVES - Second Division Champions BG Sports has claimed all three points from Vyansa after beating them 2 - 1 in the match played today. Rizuwan took the lead for Vyansa in the second half but Ramlan Branudeen scored twice and turned the score line in favor of BG.

First half of the game ended with a goalless draw while neither team was sharp in the opponent's territory.

In the 50th minute BG sports got a open chance to break the deadlock, Channa delivered a good lower cross to unmarked Solah who was just in front of the goal, but Solah's weak shot went wide.

Five minutes later Vyansa gain the lead with a beautiful finish by Ibrahim Rizuwan. His powerful shot from edge of the penalty area hit the far top corner of the goal giving no chance to goalkeeper.

Vyansa could not hold their lead for long as Ramlan Branudeen levels the game just after fives minutes. Channa supplied a cross from right flank and Branudeen clipped the ball in to goal when goalkeeper Alexander failed to hold the ball near the goal line.

In the 78th minute, Ramlan Branudeen gifted the lead for BG, his shot from right side the penalty area cross the line after hitting Alexander's hand.

In the next game in Dhiraagu Dhivehi League Qualification, Valencia will play against BG Sports on next Saturday at 16pm.
