DDLQ: Valencia 1 - 0 United Victory: Valencia off to a good start

Male', MALDIVES - Valencia has won their first game in the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League Qualification round after beating United Victory 1 - 0 in the match played today. Mohamed Irufan scored the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute.

Charles missed a golden chance for Valencia in the 27th minute, after beating two defenders Salomom delivered a lower cross to unmarked Charles but his shot form inside the penalty area went inches away from the post.

Right after start of the second half Valencia was awarded with an indirect free kick inside the penalty area as Sajjah fouled Salomom inside the penalty area. Ali Shareef shoot from the free kick but it lost the target.

Seven minutes remaining Irufan rescued Valencia after ending his header from Niushad's cross in to the bottom corner of the goal.

In the second game of of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League Qualification BG Sports will face Vyansa tomorrow evening at 16pm.
