DLQ: Valencia 2 - 1 BG Sports: Irufan scores twice against BG Sports

Male', MALDIVES - Valencia had secured three points from BG Sports with the 2 goals scored by Irufan. Right after kick-off BG took the lead of the game but Valencia came from behind to grab the important 3 points to keep them self live in the Dhivehi League Qualification round.

Valencia is now at the top of the Qualification group with 6 points from 2 games while BG Sports is on second with 3 points. United Victory and Vyansa who lost their first game to opponents are yet to gain a point as they set to meet each other tomorrow at 15:55pm.

Only 25 seconds in to the game BG took the lead with a fine finish by Fauzan. After the kick-off Channa delivered a cross from left flank and Fauzan shoots it to goal from inside the penalty area.

Irufan leveled the game for Valencia in the 22nd minute, Charles delivered a good cross and Irufan fired the ball in to the goal from close range.

Ten minutes later Irufan got a good chance to put Valencia up front, but his shot from inside the penalty area was saved by goalkeeper Ibrahim Rasheed.

In the first minute of the second half Charles made a dangerous shot from Salomom's assist inside the penalty area, but it was well saved Ibrahim Rasheed.

Ramlan Branudeen saw his powerful shot from edge of the penalty area flying inches over the crossbar in the 62nd minute.

Irufan scored from a rebounded ball and handed the lead for Valencia in the 83rd minute. When Hamdhaan headed Niushad's cross on target keeper punched the ball and Irufan who was just in front of the goal scored from the rebounded ball.

After 5 minutes of added time match ended in a 2 - 1 score line in favor of Valencia.
