Male', MALDIVES – Vyansa who lost their fist game of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi League qualification round to BG Sports, has registered 3 points after beating United Victory 4 -2 in the match played today.
Valencia leads the four teams' group with 6 points from 2 games while Vyansa gets the second place with better goal difference to third placed BG Sports who are also with 3 points from 2 games. United Victory lies in the bottom of the table with no points from 2 games.
In the 4th minute of the game Muhaimin scored from Haidar's cross and brought Vyansa to front.
United Victory goalkeeper produced a good save on Rizuwan’s shot from inside the penalty area in the 21st minute of the game.
Ahmed Sujau leveled the game for United Victory in the 28th minute, his shot from inside the penalty area went straight in to the goal.
Eight minutes later Vyansa regain the lead with a superb header from Imran, assisted by Haidar.
In the final minute of the first half Muhaimin scored his second and extended Vyansa lead to 3 - 1. Imran's shot from inside the penalty area hit the post and when it came out Muhaimin scored from the rebounded ball.
Usam scored the fourth goal for Vyansa in the 69th minute, Sujau delivered a lower cross from right flank and Usam slides and sent the ball in to goal from close range.
United Victory was lucky to have a goal on their side and turn the score line to 2 - 4 in the 78th minute. Mohamed Riffath's shot was deflected in to the goal after hitting a Vyansa player while goalkeeper Alexander lost the direction of the ball.
