Eagles beat Mahibadhoo

Male’, MALDIVES – Hassan Adham scored twice against Mahibadhoo Sports Club today to beat them by 3-0 in Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League. Ahmed Rizuwan scored the third goal for Eagles.

Eagles started the match without an experienced goalkeeper as their keeper Labaan was arrested by Police this week.

In the ninth minute Mahibadhoo’s Adam Shahir tested Eagles keeper Mujuthaba from a wonderful shot which he blocked it.

Hassan Adham broke the deadlock in the 13th minute for Eagles from a superb shot inside the box from a wonderful pass from Easa.

Five minutes later Adham doubled the lead from another good shot, which Imran Nasheed created for him.

Seven minutes after the break Tahi missed a good shot to score when he shot it wide inside the box.

In the 73rd minute Ahmed Rizuwan increased the margin for Eagles from a wonderful header inside the box from a well-taken free kick from Easa.

Victory will playa gainst Mahibadhoo in the third week of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League. League will resume after the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches.
