TC playing against Eagles in the first round

Male’, MALDIVES – Club Eagles managed to get a point against TC Sports Club, who are in the run to win the league title for the first time after a goalless draw in ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

If league leaders, New Radiant wins tonight’s game against Maziya then they will win the league. New Radiant got 29 points from 12 games while TC Sports got 28 points from 13 games.

In the last minute of the first half Eagles keeper was forced to make a stunning save to block the shot from Rafael inside the box.

TC coach Mohamed Nizam said that their only hope for the league is the outcome of tonight’s game.

“If the result of tonight’s game is a good result then we will be the champions. We missed god chances to score today and that was the only reason we managed to get a point.”

New Radiant will play against Maziya tonight at 2100 hours.
