Easy win for Maziya

Male', MALDIVES - Maziya came from behind to beat Victory by 5-1 in tonight's Dhiraagu Dhivehi league game. Maziya started the match with some changes in the starting line up when compared to the previous games and in the first 20 minutes it was a very balanced performance from the both teams.

In the 21st minute, Shinaz missed a golden opportunity to broke the deadlock, he was too selfish and made a shot inside the box while his team mates were unmarked in the box.

Three minutes later, referee awarded a penalty to Victory when Samdhooh touched the ball inside the box and Viktor took the lead from the spot for Victory.

Ashad leveled the game in the 29th minute from a superb header from a free kick. Good assist from Rilwan Waheed.

In the 38th minute, Viktor penetrated the defense line and made a good shot but keeper Imran saved the ball.

Maziya took the lead for the first time in the match just a minute before the break from a wonderful header.

Maziya scored their third goal in the 53rd minute by Naumov. Naumov touched flicked the corner kick taken by Rilwan into the net.

Two minutes later Asadhulla made another wonderful shot just out side the box but keeper Athif saves the ball.

In the 63rd minute, Naumov made a stunning header on target inside the box but keeper Athif cleared the ball.

In the 75th minute, Substitute player Nashid scored from a wonderful shot inside the box.

Two minutes later, Asadhulla scored Maziya’s fifth goal from a wonderful pass from Naumov. Assadhulla’s shot hits the bottom corner of the net.

Three minutes before the normal time Nashid made a good shot inside the box but keeper Athif blocked the ball.

In the next match of Dhiraagu Dhivehi League, New Radiant will play against Mahibadhoo Sports Club tomorrow night at 2200 hours.
