Emotional to play against New Radiant

Male’, MALDIVES – Maldives national team captain and PDRM hit man Ali Ashfaq has said that it is emotional for him to play against New Radiant.

"I am happy to play in national stadium, in front of Maldivian supporters again. But it is also emotional for me to be playing against New Radiant. I have achieved so much during my time with New Radiant. The last season I spent in Maldives was incredible. The management and supporters treated me very well. It will be emotional going against them.” Ashfaq said in an exclusive interview to Maldivesoccer.com.

Ashfaq also thanked New Radiant chairman Ali Waheed and the management of New Radiant.

“I want to thank chairman Ali Waheed, other officials of the management and supporters for the support they have given during my time with New Radiant. I will never forget the time with New Radiant.”

“PDRM is ready for the tournament. They want a good result. Especially that I am here, they want to a good result.”

New Radiant will play against PDRM FA tonight at 2100 hours.
