Faisal and Shafiu joins Valencia

Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant’s defender Shafiu Ahmed and Eagles keeper Mohamed Faisal joins Valencia on a one year contract.

Goal keeper Faisal suffered an injury early last year and was not in action for a long period of time but national team coach took him to SAFF Suzuki Cup this year.

This is the first two major signings of Valencia for the upcoming season and a reliable source has confirmed to Maldivesoccer.com that New Radiant’s defender Moamed Sifan has agreed to join Valencia.

Previously New Radiant’s skipper Ashad Ali, Ahmed Abdulla and Ali Fasir left the club. Ashad joined with Maziya while Fasir and Ahmed Abdulla joined with TC Sports.

Shafiu will have to improve a lot, he made some many mistakes in SAFF Cup i could have written 10-page book.

Congratulations. Hope that you prove all your critics wrong and give a performance in 2016 which will shut their mouths. By the way why has Valencia not said anything about the signature of Shaafi and Faisla.

Valencia has not said anything cos no one really cares about these transfers. Only 5-10 people visit to watch these guys playing in the so called maldivian premier league. Harsh...but thats the truth. Ask any kid on the street and they would know all about the international transfers.
