Fasir begins normal trainings

Male’, MALDIVES - Maldives national team and New Radiant Sports Club’s striker, Ali Fasir (Sentey) has started normal practices with his club after being sidelined for 4 months after undergoing surgery to remove a plate inserted for a previous injury.

Sentey started light training with New Radiant from last month as a part of the recovery.

Speaking exclusively to Maldivesoccer.com, Sentey, who returned to the blues practice today said that he haven’t played for a long time and he will focus on to regain the fitness during this short time ahead of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League 2015.

“As you know, I haven’t played for a long time and since the league starts in 10 days, I’ll try more on to regain the fitness as soon as possible.” Sentey said.

Sentey had undergone a minor surgery on last December to take off a plate which was inserted in 2012 to support his leg due to an injury suffered during a national team practice match.

Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League will kick off on 20th April 2015.
