Fasir sends TC to second

Male’, MALDIVES – TC Sports Club moved to the second position of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League after beating Victory Sports Club by 1-0 today.

TC Sports Club moved to the second position with the difference of goals scored as both Eagles and TC Sports got 14 points with the same number of goals difference.

Victory started today’s game under the guidance of their assistant coach Nashid after the resignation of coach Mohamed Nazeeh.

Ali Fasir scored the only goal of the match in the second minute of the game with his 13 goal of this season.

Ahmed Ziyan and Ahmed Rilwan missed two golden chances to increase the margin for TC Sports in the first half.

Victory dominated the second half and created good goal scoring opportunities and one of that was the missed chance from Ibrahim Shathir. Ibrahim Shathir gave a good ball to him inside the box and took too much time to made a shot on that.

Victory keeper Hassan Tholal was forced to made a good save to stop the shot from Yameen Ibrahim in the 70th minute.

Maziya Sports and Recreation Club will play against BG Sports Club tonight at 2100 hours.
