Fasir’s injury not serious

Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant’s striker Ali Fasir’s injury was not serious according to the player. Ali Fasir was injured during Dhiraagu Dhivehi League match between New Radiant and Mahibadhoo.

Speaking to maldivesoccer.com today Fasir said that as per the CT scan he didn’t have any fracture.

“Doctor said that there is no fracture after the CT scan and it was a muscle pain.”

Fasir also said he will start the physiotherapy session today to recover and hoping to play some matches in this season.

“I am going to start the physiotherapy today and I hope to play some games this season. Doctor has said that after one week if there is no pain I can play.”

Fasir is the second leading scorer in this season with 25 goals. It is certain that he will not play in the semifinal match of FA Cup against Eagles tomorrow night.

it could be just tissue injury but doctors always advice to take minimum of three weeks rest because their is always the likehood of a hairline fracture which won't be visible in the initial few days but only later, so a second scan is always advised before resuming practice.
