Kulhudhufushi, MALDIVES – BG Sports head coach Mohamed Shazly (Shaaz) has said that they are fully prepared for the President's Cup to be kicked off tomorrow in Kulhudhufushi and Addu City.

“We are fully prepared for this tournament and our main target is to play in the semi final of the tournament.”

“But I know this group is not an easy group as our first game is against the defending champions, New Radiant but our target is to get three points from our first game tomorrow.”

Shaaz also reiterated that it will be difficult to replace their key striker Abdulla Muaz (Auto).

“Auto is injured and he may miss this tournament as well and it is a huge loss for us. It will be difficult for us to replace him but we will work to fill that gap in our striking force.”

On the other hand, New Radiant’s coach Sobah Mohamed said that his team is in a good form and they very confident about this tournament.

“We are in a good form and managed to get good results in our friendly games and I have the confidence that we can get a good result tomorrow. Our main target is to win the first game and if we lose this match we will be under pressure so we have to win this game."

“William can’t play due to suspension but Rilwan Waheed is eligible to play after his suspension but we can fill the gap of William even though he is in a good form.”

BG Sports will kick off their Presidents Cup campaign against defending champions, New Radiant. The match will be kick off at 1600 hours. In group B, Maziya will play against Club Valencia at Addu City Hithadhoo Stadium at the same time.
