Goalless draw

Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports managed to get a point against AYL today after a goalless draw in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League.

In the 79th minute Azzzam made a good on target just out side the box but keeper Yamaan cleared it for a corner kick.

Two minutes later Simhan penetrated the defense line and Ali Niyaz blocked a good ball to Ajuvadh but his shot.

After the match BG Sports coach Iqbal said that he is happy with the result and the performance of the team.

“I am happy with the result and the performance of the team. We created good open chances but failed to convert it to a goal.”

Maziya will play against Victory in the next match of Dhiraagu Dhivehi League on Monday at 1600 hours.
