Goalless draw

Male’, MALDIVES – BG Sports Club managed to get a point against Club Eagles tonight after a goalless draw in the ongoing Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League.

In the 11th minute keeper Ifrah was tested by Rizuwan from a wonderful shot inside the box. In the same minute on the other end David’s stunning shot on target was blocked by keeper Sujan.

In the 36th minute Rizuwan penetrated the defense line of BG Sports and made a good shot on target but defender Amir blocked it and cleared the ball from the danger zone.

In the 56th minute Eagles missed another good chance to break the deadlock. Mubeen shot it wide inside the box.

In the 90th minute referee gave marching orders to Ibrahim Shiyam for a foul he committed in the defending half.

In the additional time David missed a good goal scoring opportunity. He penetrated the defense line and shot it wide inside the box.

With this result Eagles lies on fourth position of the table with 14 points from 10 games. League leaders New Radiant got 23 points from 10 games.
