Imaz equalises for Eagles

Male’, MALDIVES – Ahmed Imaz’s goal just 15 minutes before the normal time helped Eagles to get a point against BG Sports after a 1-1 draw in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League.

Mohamed Azzam broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute when his shot inside the box was deflected of an Eagles player.

In the 43rd minute, keeper Ibrahim Rasheed saved a good header from Nooman inside the box.

In the 60th minute, Imaz missed a golden opportunity to level the game from a decent cross from Easa but his shot went wide.

Seven minutes later Ansaar’s shot inside the box went over the bar.

Ahmed Imaz levelled the game in the 74th minute from an acrobatic shot inside the box, which hit the top corner of the net.

In the 83rd minute Muslih made another good shot inside the box but went over the bar.

Eagles lies on the third position of the table with 20 points from 12 matches while BG Sports is on the bottom of the table with six points from 12 matches.
