As a player and as a coach I felt that Imma showed great professionalism. He is Very desciplined amongst the few local players to have played for a team Abroad. As for his coaching, he will certainly be ranked Amongst the top local coaches. However, as I have mentioned in my earlier comments, I feel that the first division teams need good foreign coaches for a longer term. I know this will be a challenge , but we need to develop our youngsters for at least five years under the guidance of a pro coach to maldivian football into the next level. I suggest Imma to also start something like a football academy similar to bodu Heena and properly lay the foundation of our future generations. Wish you all the best and a great future Imma.

Totally agree with you. We have to agree that to take our football to a higher level we need good foreign coaches. Or at least our coaches should train/learn abroad maybe as asssistant coaches. This is because exposure only to dhivehi football cannot take us to the next level, that too little!!! Our coaches can do a better job if they get opportunities to work abroad!!! And the current players who dream of becoming a coach should seriously think about playing abroad rather than ending his career only in maldives!!!

Imma appears to be a tactically astute coach, more so than his fellow Maldivian coaches. He has pretty good technical knowledge of the game. But I think he has taken Maziya as far as he could. Successive 2nd place wins and AFC Cup football is about as great as Maziya could get, unfortunately, due to their small fanbase and minuscule budget. I would like to see him involved in football, maybe coach abroad or get involved with the national team.

Good point. But i think if he truly wants to be a good coach then he should try to go to abroad. But its most likely that he will choose easy money and join FAM and starts a YDP or be a coach of another team in Maldives!!! I think he can get a job in Malaysia 2nd division, and if he try now through ashfaq, it will be much more easy!!! I wish he do not waste his coaching talent, he is young and have great potential. With a team with proper budget he could achieve greater success!!! Anyway wish him all the best!!
