Yes, Iraq are the defending champions and the powerhouse of youth football in asia but to concede 7 goals is simply not acceptable. there must be something worse than inexperience, lack of fitness or tough match scheduling. Sorry, this is really bad and the next match should be used to put everything back on track.

This result is not shocking at all. It sheds light on our standard, our fitness level, our fratality against physically imposing players. It sheds light on our domestic league. The reality is we have low standard league with very two good teams competing with a very average six teams in the league. 99 percent of these players belong to the good two teams and they compete against these average teams. All they need less than 50 percent fitness, 50 percent of work rate to win games. Most of the players hardly ever play very tiring 90 minutes. With this kind fitness level throughout the year how are our players when in the national team are expected to play well against the likes of Iran. Until the day we have substandard league with little competition the players coming through will be physically not fit to play 90 min of good football. We will be forever be one half wonders. Both senior and junior national teams.

Some very good points. What 3 things would you do to make the league more competitive?
