Kalaafaanu wins the c'ship

Male’, MALDIVES – Kalaafaanu School has won the Nippon U13 Championship after beating Iskandhar School by 5-2 on penalties.

Kalaafaanu and Iskandharu was 1-1 during the normal time. Hussain Salaam took the lead for Kalaafaanu but just after 10 minutes Iskandhar’s Ismail Yooh leveled the game.

Kalaafaanu keeper Mohamed Shauf saved two penalties from Iskandhar.

Man of the tournament and best midfield player was Hussain Salaam of Kalaafaanu and best striker was Ibrahim Imran from Iskandhar. Kalaafaanu’s Adhuham Hassan won the best defender and best goal keeper award was won by Shauf from Kalaafaanu.
