I hope new radiant will make a good decision and that it will benefit the players and future hopefuls. I wonder if any negotiations are going on with umair. I believe he and bakaa has huge potential to shine in foreign leagues too. Could MS bring us the status of Rileys transfer? Last I read a Malaysian team was intersted in him but no more news in what Happened, to aku and sentey, I congratulate them for getting this offer and I plead from them to work really hard when in Oman. As a regular follower of local football I know what stands out in the both of you. It's your never say die attitude while playing, good temperament and good manners on the pitch. You will be flying the national flag and representing all the Maldivian players abroad. If you do it well more windows will open for our players. May the coming year be one of the happiest years we have seen in terms of Maldivian football. And FAM when are you finalizing a coach for our national team? Tmes running out. Wishing all the best ot Maldivian football.

Someone here mentioned about a lack of agents in our football. I believe this is a critical issue, as players need help to negotiate contracts and find information about the clubs and countries they are going to play for and live in. I think this is a major barrier for the players as their parent clubs often keep them in the dark regarding offers from overseas clubs. And about the national team coach...wasn't FAM supposed to appoint him 2 weeks ago? Typical...

@ Imma; its me who raised the issue of lack of agents in Maldives. I did a little research about how the transfer things works and found out that agents play a very very big role in it. And even tried to contact some agents personally so that i can inform them about the talents of Maldives but it all ended fruitlessly. I guess they were too busy and every agent has so many players under them, its really a competition itself ::: Just imagine how difficult it would be for Ashfaq, who did not do well in his school (just like almost all the players), to go through all the complex legal maters of a CONTRACT???!!! Let alone negotiations which will be in English or in another foreign language. ::: Anyway though odds are against us, we need to keep trying. And now there is a very good opportunity awaiting, so i hope this one will not go to a waste!!!

I wish both of them get release without any issues. And really hope to see the "other player" that Popov is looking, will also go with them. This i a very good news for our football, we have talent and if we try to "export" these talents they will become professionals as well. I heard that the Tunisian player (Issam Jemâa) who plays for Kuwait SC, gets USD 60,000 per month!!!!!! Imagine, just imagine how greener the otherside of the river is!!!! I am not saying our players will get such a huge offer but even if they get a USD2,000 per month, thats much much better than staying here, specially players like Akram, Riley and asadhullah. They are young, talented and huge potential to develop their skills to another level.
