MIFT 2016: Majeedhiyya wins U14 age group

Male’, MALDIVES – Majeedhiyya School has won the U14 age group of the MILO Inter School Football Tournament after beating Iskandhar School by 1-0 today in the final match played at Henveiru Ground.

Ahmed Zayan scored the only goal of the match in the 51st minute of the game. Iskandhar School’s Ibrahim Imran was the top scorer of the tournament.

The best 11 players of the tournament were; Majeedhiyaa School’s Mohamed Shauf Rilwan, Mohamed Laish Niyaz, Ahmed Zayan Ismail, Ahmadhiyyaa International School’s Aleem Abdul Latheef, Ali Nawee Niyaz, Iskandhar School’s Adam Halaf Matheen, Ibrahim Imran, Ismail Yooh Riffath and Imaduddin;s Ibrahim Anoof, Ahmed Samah and Ahmed Raisam Hussain.

Chief Guest of the tournament was the Senior Policy Executive of Ministry of Education, Ibrahim Ismail.

Fair play team of the tournament was Ahmadhiyya International School.
