Maldives first penalty shootout victory on their fourth attempt! I feel that this is a huge psychological boost for the national team, and I also hope we take the fight and spirit we showed in this competition to the qualifiers next year. Coach Drago Mamic has already stressed the importance of proper planning for the football calendar by FAM. Let's hope they listen..
