Male’, MALDIVES – Football Association of Maldives has appointed national airline, Maldivian as the travelling partner of the Association today.
In a ceremony held at FAM House this morning Bassam Adheel Jaleel, General Secretary of FAM signed on behalf of FAM and Managing Director Abdul Haris signed on behalf of Maldivian.
Under this one-year deal Maldivian will provide 30 free tickets to FAM for the domestic destinations while they will also help the Association in the international sectors.
“We didn’t mean it as a commercial agreement we want to help the Maldivian football in general. We will appoint one staff from Maldivian specially for the FAM.” Haris said.
General Secretary Bassam Adheel Jaleel said FAM is spending a lot of money for domestic flights during the past and even now.
“We have been spending a lot of money on domestic flights for the courses and other related activities but with the help of this agreement we can cut down those expenses.”
