A lot of Maldivian businessmen make frequent trips to Hong Kong, so it would be great if an arrangement is made to take a few fans over there for the second match. Maybe a bit late now though...

Imma, never too late. An idea would be to forward this page to any Maldivian businessmen/women in or going to HK. I'm sure they'd be interested in making an arrangement.

This FAM has become a leech.... to charge even MVR 50 for the lowest priced stand is expensive for average football fans…you know that! DO you want bleed dry football loving Maldivians passion for the game this way...knowing you can quote any amount and the gullible fans will go to the stadium no matter what! This is absurd and uncalled for, not least when we all know this is going to be tough game for Maldives and when our preparation for the game amount to a second division club friendly in South Korea and Qatar, the team we are supposed to play, had tough good preparation against teams like Ireland and Scotland. FAM, you are taking our love for the national team for granted!

Thinking about what we as fans can do during the match, I think a planned approach will help the team a lot. For example:- 1. The match should start with a thunderous cheer 2. The different stands, Henveiru, Saharaa, Majeedhee Magu and Galolhu stands should take turns to keep the cheering and encouragements alive throughout the match. 3. Most importantly, if and when Qatar begins to impose and take control for a period of mroe than 10 minutes, we should ignite the cheering with a popular football rhythmic chant, song, bodu beru etc. In some countries the most passionate support and also the most positive effect on the team on the pitch comes from when the fans start singing the national anthem or something patriotic in chorus and in unison. Th8is itself could turn the whole game our way. If we go behind at any point of the match, we as the fans won't and shouldn't sit and just watch. We have a duty!
