Maziya 6 - 1 AYL: Maziya thrashed AYL

Male', MALDIVES - Maziya thrashed All Youth Linkage (AYL) 6 - 1 in the match played today in Dhiraagu Dhivehi League. Hussain Niyaz (Bokury) scored a hat trick for Maziya while Assadhulla scored twice and Furugan scored one. Santosh scored the only goal of AYL.

With this win Maziya has gathered 32 points from 16 games and settled in the second place of the league while they have a 7 points gap between them and the leading New Radiant SC.

In the first minute of the game Assadhulla headed Furugan's cross in to the goal and brought Maziya to front line.

With a wonder goal from long range, Bokury scored the second goal for Maziya in the 28th minute. Bokury's thunderbolt from middle of the AYL half hit the far corner of the goal.

One minute remaining in the first half Assadhulla gave a good through pass to Ahmed Rasheed. Ahmed Rasheed beats his marker and tried with a shot from inside the penalty area but it went inches over the crossbar.

Maziya scored three goals in 3 minutes and changed the score line to 5 - 0 in the second half. Furugan scored from close range in the 54th minute while Bokury scored his second of the day in the next minute.

Bokury completed his hat trick in the 57th minute after heading Ahmed Rasheed's cross in to the goal from close range.

Santosh scored for AYL in the 68th minute and made the score line to 1 - 5. After getting a pass from Muaz in a corner kick Santosh pasted his shot from left edge of the penalty area to the top corner of the goal giving no chance to Maziya substitute goalkeeper Athif.

Eight minutes remaining on the clock Assadhulla scored from Bokury's cross and extended Maziya lead to 6 - 1.
