Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant Sports Club has announced major changes to their academy that includes appointing senior team coach Mika as the leading figure of the academy.

In a press conference held at FAM, New Radiant chairman Balak said the club will also conduct U7, U9, U11 and U13 at the academy and introduce an U16 team.

"Previously there is a gap between academy and the senior team but with the introduction of an U16 team, players can go through to the senior team"

"Our first aim was to make New Radiant as the number one in the country. Now we will give as much attention as the senior team to the academy. We want to see after 10 years a player from our academy break into the senior team and to Maldives national team" Balak added.

Balak also added they have decided to reduce academy fee from MVR500 to MVR250 from February 2015.
