Milo CMC2016: Immigration and Police Club into the SF

Male’, MALDIVES – Police Club and Club Immigration has confirmed a place in the semifinals of the ongoing Milo 18/30 Women’s Football Fiesta. Police Club won the match against Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) by 3-1 while Club Immigration defeated STO Recreation Club by 3-0 yesterday.

Siranya Srimanee scored a brace and Fathimath Zahira managed to put her name on the score sheet for Police Club. The only goal for DSC was scored by best scorer of Milo CMC 2016 Shabeena Khatun. It was her 30th goal of this tournament.

STORC was unable to create opportunities to score against Club Immigration accept for a chance in the second half which was pushed away by goal keeper Aditi with her feet in a one against one encounter. Rani scored twice and Aditi scored for Club Immigration from the penalty spot. Rani, second highest goal scorer with 10 goals of Milo CMC 2016 was awarded as the best player of the match.
