New Radiant players join national team

Male’, MALDIVES – Players selected from New Radiant for the national team have joined national team practices today.

A total of 13 players from New Radiant are selected for the national team squad who are preparing for the AFC Challenge Cup, which will be held in Maldives in May this year.

Goal keeper Imran Mohamed and defender Mohamed Sifan did not participate in today’s practice due to injury.

Maldives national team is scheduled to fly to Bangkok to play four friendly games there and before the tour to Bangkok they will play a game against a selected foreign and local players team on 16th April.

Maldives lies on the Group A including Myanmar, Palestine and Turkmenistan.

I think it would be much better one day play againsed NRSC another day with Maziya . This will help more to both the teams

Good. Let the preparations begin in earnest. Is it true that we are playing a friendly against Dhivehi League All-Stars? If so then I am disappointed. We need practice against other national teams, not retired Italians or Maldivian players who are not good enough to get in the natiobal team squad.
