Male, MALDIVES – Victory Sports Clubs head Coach Ali Suzain stated that his side is very familiar with finals of President's Cup and he is fully confident that they will beat their arch rivals, New Radiant Sports Club for the third consecutive finals. The final match of the tournament will be held tomorrow afternoon at the National Stadium between two Maldivian footballing leaders, Victory Sports Club and New Radiant Sports Club.

Speaking exclusively to maldivesoccer.com, today, after the final trainings, Suzain said that all his boys are fully fit for the big game.

“All our players are fit and there are no issues of injuries”.

“It’s a positive thing to my side that all players are fit, especially that Aku (Akram Abdul Gani) and Umair has been performing well lately, even in the games we lost”.

Defending Champions, Victory has won the presidents Cup for a record number of 21 times.

“I would be the most difficult person for New Radiant. I have made their (New Radiant) life miserable. I’ve beat New Radiant more than anyone in Maldivian football at the moment.”

"According to statistics, we have managed to beat them in two consecutive finals. So this will be the third time we will be doing it to them"

Victory has faced NRSC four times this year and NRSC won thrice while the other match ended all squared.

In tomorrow’s final, the top two strikers of Maldives; Umair and Ashfag will face each other. Suzain praised Ashfag saying that he is totally different from any other player.

“Umair and Ashfag are two different breeds. Umair is not a natural striker unlike Ashfag. Ashfag is the best player in the Maldives so far”.

Both Ashfag and Umair has scored 23 goals so far in the season for the clubs.

Suzain said that, his most comfortable sleep comes parallel with a win against NRSC.

“When ever we manage to beat New Radiant, I manage to get a good night sleep"
