Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant SC wins B52 FA Cup 2013 after beating Maziya 1 – 0 in the final match played tonight. Mansa scored the only goal of the game in the first half, which entitled 11th trophy for the Blues out of 26 edition of FA Cup played.

Ten minutes later New Radiant Goalkeeper Imran made a superb save on Mukhthar’s close range shot. Mukhathar beats two defenders of New Radiant and powered his shot from inside the penalty area but Imran was too alert in front of the goal to deny the attempt.

Ashfaq tried a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the 55th minute of the game. But it came out after hitting the right post of the goal.

Maziya went close to a equalizer in the 72nd minute, Shafiu shoots the ball fell from Imran’s gloves while holding the corner kick, but Niyaz cleared the ball from the goal line.

Five minutes later New Radiant substitute player Yousuf fired a shot on target from inside the penalty area, but goalkeeper Imran dived and saved the ball.

After 4 minutes of added time match ended 1 – 0 in favor New Radiant SC while there was a clash between both teams fans inside the stadium. Some players and Officials also was involved in this clash.
