Nishan wins it for Valencia

Male’, MALDIVES – Club Valencia’s midfielder Ahmed Nishan scored twice against BG Sports today to win the match by 2-0 in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League. The result will help Valencia go into the top six of the league.

Ahmed Nishan broke the deadlock in the fourth minute from a lose ball from the keeper Ibrahim Rasheed. Keeper tried to clear the cross from Yoosuf Rameez from the right flank.

BG keeper Ibrahim Rasheed made another blunder in the twenty third minute and Nishan doubled the lead from that. Keeper failed to save the free kick from Mahir.

BG Sports first attempt came from Wisham in the 27th minute, he penetrated the defense line and made the shot but it went wide.

Twelve minutes after the break Nishan made another good shot inside the box but it went wide.

Hamdhaan beat his marker from the right flank and made a good shot but BG skipper Haneef blocked it for a corner kick.

Haneef’s free kick in the 74th minute hits the woodwork and BG players cleared the ball.

Mahibadhoo will play against AYL tonight at 2100 hours.
