The initial optimism we have of this brand new league has somewhat ebbed. We don't see anything to get excited about. We don't see a huge promotion campaign that was promised to kick off weeks ahead of the league. There is no promotional activity on tv. The stadium looks like an abandoned place. Paints are peeling off its walls next to main gate. Worn out stickers strain the ticket selling booth. If fam is so wholeheartedly worried about our football then at least to inject some lease of life to our football they should start with some makeover for the stadium. At least to let people know that current fam is business and changes are coming starting from the place we play football. From the charity shield match we know how things will pan out for the rest of the seasons. It is going to be the same old story.

Apparently, the stadium makeover and the painting and decorating is Ooredoo's job! What a shame! Talking of local clubs, where are the teams for Villimale' and Hulhumale'?

Hope Shaveed does not steal the money. He has done it to many of his business associates in the past and can never keep his word.
