i think 20th is too early to bring him. he is world class player.. he can manage in National Team. Better bring him on the next month so he can still get more competitive matches in Malaysia League. Be Positive Suzain.... In my view the decision is not right

Even the best players in Europe join their national team with everyone else. National team will be going to a training camp in Thailand and now Ashfaq is going to be a part of it. They will also play 3 matches there, so this is going to help the national team on the whole.

Ashfaq will most probably need 5 to 7 days rest when he comes to Male’ on Sunday. He has been playing competitive football since last year December, since he joined PDRM. That is just a month after an 8 month long Dhivehi league with New Radiant. He must be feeling some hint of exhaustion by now and tiring out. He will need some time off the pitch to recharge his batteries and get his focus on national team. Straight from Malaysia to a pitch on Maldives the next day is not a good an idea as he might be prone to an injury with so much of game time under belt.
