Male’, MALDIVES – All Youth Linkage manage to get a point against Valencia after a goalless draw in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League last night.

Both teams failed to create an open goal scoring chance in the match.

Solah supplied a good ball into the box in the 10th minute of the game but keeper Ifrah saved the ball.

Ten minutes after the break Shaffaz made a good shot on target but it went straight to the gloves of the keeper.

Both teams made changes to score a goal but neither team failed to create a goal scoring opportunity even with those changes.

Three minutes before the normal time Ahsan made a good shot on target but Valencia skipper Haneef blocked it and cleared for a corner kick.

After the game Valencia coach Shahid said that a point against AYL was not good but one point is better than nothing for the time being.

“We are not happy with this result but a point is better than nothing against AYL.”

“Our main problem is scoring goals and even today we faced the same problem. We started the match to win this and to be in a good position of the table to be included in the top six.”

AYL coach Nashid said that he was happy with the result with Valencia.

“I am happy with this result against a team like Valencia. We knew that they will be good and we tried not to concede a goal and we achieved that.”
