Male’, MALDIVES – After being ruled out for more than four months due to injuries, Ali Fasir (Sanetey) finally started attending Victory’s trainings. Sentey, who joined reds this season, is yet to play his first game for his new club.

Sentey was ruled out earlier this year due to a devastating right ankle injury. He suffered the injury during warm up game between national team and his former club New Radiant.

Speaking to maldivesoccer.com, Victory’s Manager Ahmed Ayaz Rasheed said that they are hoping that Sentey will start playing in around another 20 days.

“It’s glad that Sentey is back. Doctors have informed us that he is medically fit now”.

“Since he just recovered from a serious injury, his fears still remain”.

“But we are hoping that he will be fit for matches in around maybe another 20 days. We hope he will be fit soon”.

According to Ayaz, Victory’s injured goalkeeper Mohamed Faisal will also be fit very soon. But Ayaz said that Faisal is unlikely to see in the second round of Dhivehi League.

“He has started gym practices now, but he is unlikely to see in this round”.

Faisal was injured when playing against a Yemeni side earlier this year on AFC Cup play-off match.

“We hope he will be fit for the third round”.

Victory is placed in the second position with 18 points; three points behind league leaders New Radiant who is on the top with 21 points.
