Rilwan returns to Blues

Rilwan playing for New Radiant early this year. He has returned to the Blues today.

Male', MALDIVES - New Radiant has signed Maziya defender Rilwan Waheed on a two year contract. Blues sack the player due to a disciplinary issue early this year but it appeared now the player is ready to come back and make amendments.

"I apologise for what happened before. I want to develop as a player and grow better as an individual and I believe New Radiant is the best place for that" Rilwan said.

Before the signing it was reported in media that Rilwan wants to join either Valencia or New Radiant and it was his father's wish for him to join the Blues. New Radiant chairman Balak is another reason for Rilwan to go back to Blues.

Rilwan is the second signing by the club in the week as earlier they signed Ashad Ali (Adey) on a two year deal.

New Radiant finished last season winning Charity Shield, Dhivehi League and President's Cup.

We all have reasons for doing certain things. If your reason to play for New Radiant is because of father’s wish and Balak how about refrain from bad habits like smoking for health reason. Being selective about reasons will not make you a good footballer.
