Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant Sports Club’s midfielder Rilwan Waheed has been suspended for two matches with a fine of MVR 4000.

In a press release from the Football Association of Maldives today stated that the suspension was made based on the incident happened during the first match of Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League between New Radiant and Victory Sports Club.

Rilwan Waheed was sent off with a straight red card after the foul he committed to Ahmed Ziyan of Victory Sports Club.

Rilwan Waheed will miss the next two games in the league against Mahibadhoo and BG Sports.

Meanwhile New Radiant’s defender Mohamed Rasheed (Hokey) was also suspended for six games.
