Hope the fallout from the latest debacle will not impact on the camaraderie of the players. On the contrary, I like to believe their resolve will be further strengthened by withdrawal of many too players and they will show everybody it is not the end of the world for national team.

If 1997 is to be viewed as an example that this team will hopefully generate a more happy ending :) to Maldivian football fans

We need two coaches, one for senior another for under 21. I prefer this model cause we'll be in better position to assess the performance of under 21 coach and if he managed to live up to our expectation than he could be promoted to senior team. coach will be motivated and players will have that desire to impress the coach to be selected in the senior team. he will be familiar the player. i see lot of benefits in this model. In case this does not work out, we'll have the senior coach.

Its a more costly model. Maldives plays a handful of international matches each year, sometimes none, so having two coaches may not generate the kind of input to each other.

I like this idea. Urbanyi was a good coach to develop young players, if we could afford two coaches then its a wise thing to do. But as "player" said, the young teams have almost nothing through out the year, so as far as the current system is concerned its is useless!!!
