Male, MALDIVES – Head Coach of Victory Sports Club Ali, Suzain says that his side has achieved what they aimed from the game against All Youth Linkage (AYL) in the ongoing Dhiraagu Dhivehi League. Victory SC earned three points from AYL by beating them 4 – 2.

Suzain earlier said that the gama against AYL is a pointless game. Speaking at the post match press briefing, Suzain noted that both clubs and individual targets have been fulfilled from the pointless game.

“Despite a pointless game, we have achieved the clubs and the individual targets from the game”.

“One thing is that we secured three points, the next is that Umair scored and later he was declared the man of the match.

Goals for Victory was scored by Ali Fasir (Sentey), Umair, Adhuham and Arfiu. Santos and Muaz scored for AYL.

With the win Victory SC moved up to the second place of the League table with 28 points and close the gap to 8 points between them and leading New Radiant SC

Speaking at the press briefing, AYL’s Coach Ahmed Athif (Aathee) stated that the performance of his side was not bad even though the result didn’t favor them.

“In general, our boys performed well, compared the other games they play”.
