Ten men Mahibadhoo lose

Male’, MALDIVES – Ten men Mahibadhoo Sports Club lost the game against Club Eagles by 3-1 today in Dhiraagu Dhivehi League.

Eagles broke the deadlock in the 14th minute from a wonderful volley by Adhuham inside the box from a descent cross from Imaz.

Four minute later, Imaz supplied another good ball to Adhuham but the flag was up for an offside.

In the 39th minute Imaz made a good shot inside the box but keeper Jazlan blocked it and Adhuham made another shot from the rebounded ball but keeper cleared it.

In the extra time of the first half Easa penetrated the defense line and supplied a good ball to Adhuham but his shot hits the woodwork.

In the 50th minute referee gave marching orders to Mahibadhoo’s Ahmed Nuhaad when he brought down Adhuham.

Ahmed Imaz doubled the lead from the free kick in the 50th minute. His shot was deflected into the net.

In the 70th minute Adhuham made a good shot inside the box but it went over the bar.

Five minutes later, Easa missed another good chance to increase the gap. He was unmarked inside the box when he received the ball but his shot was blocked.

In the 81st minute, Abdulla Midhuhath Fahumy scored from a thunderbolt shot inside the box.

Four minutes before the normal time Mohamed Muslih converted the score to 3-1 after beating the keeper.

In the 89th minute Easa penetrated the defense line and supplied a good ball but Muslih's shot inside the six yard box went over the bar.

Mahibadhoo lies on fifth position of the league with 11 points from 13 games while Eagles lies on third position with 23 points from 13 games.
