Three teams departed

Male’, MALDIVES – Club Valencia and Maziya Sports and Recreation Club has departed to Addu City while TC Sports Club departed to Kulhudhufishi last night for the upcoming Presidents Cup.

Group A includes TC Sports Club, New Radiant Sports Club, Mahibadhoo Sports Club and BG Sports Club and group B includes Maziya Sports, Club Valencia, Club Eagles and Victory Sports Club. This is the first time that the Presidents Cup is being played in two different islands during the history of one of the most prestigious tournament.

According to Football Association of Maldives, Club Eagles, New Radiant Sports Club and Mahibadhoo will be departing to Addu City and Kulhudhuffushi tomorrow morning.

General Secretary of FAM, Bassam Adeel Jaleel has previously said that all the expenses of this tournament will be paid by the FAM including the air fare, food and accomodation.
