Male’, MALDIVES – A Japanese and a Brazilian player have joined Maziya Sports and Recreation Club’s practice today for the season 2015.

The Gifu born Toshiya Hosoe, was thrilled with the opportunity to play in the 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup.

“When my representatives, Trebol Sports International informed me that Maziya SRC was interested in me, I was pleasantly surprised. I could not hide my joy when I put my signature on the dotted line. I will give my best for this team and I cannot wait to link up with them for preseason training. My goal is to feature in all the club’s games and mature as a player and man.”

The former Kaya FC henchman will be facing familiar foes in Maziya’s AFC Cup playoff game against Philippines side, Ceres-La Salle FC on 17th February.

“I have played once against them and lost that game. They are a really good side but if we play as a team, I will be able to exact revenge on them this time round!”

Maziya’s newly joined Brazilian, Silas Junio was also a midfielder with lots of experience in asia and other countries.

Suzain are these guys good decent players, of the standard you want? What happen so often is we bring these players on video reference but on the actual field of play they look like they are specialised in some other sports. They are no where near the standard we look for in them. But with Suzain never know, may be he has struck a goldmine with this aquistion. When he is building a dream project and pursuing an obession to prevent new radiant getting hand on a record he enjoys he is as unpridictable as the words of wisdom he talks for our consumption. Keep it up man!
