Urbanyi selects his final squad for SAFF C'ship

Moosa Yamin and Hussain Niyaz of New Radiant and Nashid of Maziya are omitted from the final squad

Maldives coach Urbanyi has selected his final 20 player squad for the SAFF Championship. Moosa Yamin, Hussain Niyaz Mohamed (both from New Radiant) and Maziya's Ahmed Nashid were the three players omitted from the squad.

The final squad is due to submit today and the selected 20 players will represent Maldives in the 8 team regional football show. However, the omitted players are likely to stay with the team until the end of the tournament.

The decision means both Rilwan Waheed and Ismail Easa, both having minor injuries, are all clear to feature in the tournament.
