WC2012: Sun 3 - 0 STAR: Easy win for Sun

Male’, MALDIVES – Sun Hotels and Resorts has easily won their match against L. Gan Thudi Society for Thudi Advancement and Recreation (STAR) in today’s Women Championship 2012 match. Sun Hotels and Resorts won the match by 3 – 0.

Aishath Mahin scored the opening goal in the 3rd minute. Her shot inside the penalty area went into the bottom corner of the goal. Goalkeeper of STAR dived to get the ball, but she could not reach the ball.

Aminath Zaahiya scored the second goal in the 38th minute. Fathmath Afza scored the third goal from a counter attack in the 61st minute.

Fathmath Afza of Sun Hotels and Resorts won the queen of the match.

In tomorrow’s match Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) will play against Maldives Broadcasting Cooperation (MBC). The match will kick off at 1625hrs at Henveiru Grounds.
